在海洋裡處處都可以看到不同種的生物，為了共享利益所結合而成的共生關係，其中最具代表性的應該就是鰕虎魚與盲蝦吧! 牠們居住在沙質海底同一處的洞穴內，分工方式是由鰕虎魚擔任守衛的工作，盲蝦則是負責不停的挖沙，以保持所居住的洞穴的完整與清潔，一但外界有任何的風吹草動，負責守衛的蝦虎魚馬上會搖動牠的尾巴,而幾乎在同一時間，盲蝦會立刻的躲到洞裡。若是外界的威脅是明顯而立即的,則連蝦虎魚也會一起躲進沙洞 。在這個共生關係裡，蝦虎魚得到了免費又乾淨的洞穴可以居住，而盲蝦則是有了一位稱職又免費的守衛！ |
